It's that time of year again.

I hate daylight savings time. No really... I can't stand it. It actually wasted several hours of my life the week before last (there was some random bug at work that had us all in a panic because the world was going to end at 2 am on March 1st. Okay, the world wasn't going to end, but we were told to update everything or else risk having everything go down. It sounds so silly and small now that it's over, but when you're told that you have to update _everything_ in two days... it's pretty amazing how big everything can be.

But work issues aside, daylight savings time is still such a bad idea. Every year twice a year everybody decides that they're going to screw with my clock. I don't really care which way it lands, I just don't see why it has to change. Every fall, I'm tempted to leave my clock on the same time, but the temptation of sleeping in an extra hour is just too much for me to resist. So I change my clocks and conform with the rest of the world.
