Now, I'm sure there's a lot of people out there who drink responsibly, and simply have a shot of whisky with their friends or loved ones every once in a while. And others just have a couple beers with their friends on a Friday night. However, I don't think that gas stations should sell alcohol. Aren't gas stations supposed to be a quick stop while on the road? Implying that they're driving? Meaning that they aren't supposed to be drinking, right?

They should go to their nearest grocer for their liquor. Especially for hard liquor. I haven't had anybody come in to the gas station totally sauced yet, but there was at least one guy that looked rather desperate for that alcohol. I couldn't tell you for sure when he'd had his last drink, but he definitely seemed to have a hard time keeping his hands from shaking as he handed me his twenty and waited for his change and a few small bottles of disgusting fluid. I definitely don't think that he was a "social drinker"... but he was over 21 and wasn't sauced, so my job was to give him his poison. And may his death be swift and painless...
