|I could've sworn that the TA's left the lab at 8 PM on Friday evenings... I don't know where I got such an idea from, but nonetheless, I thought that I had time to go with Rachel to her test review and do the reading there. If you don't do the reading, you lose a point off the labs, so I always delay passing off the lab until I finish the reading. I had finished the lab last night, and just had the reading to go, but I figured I had plenty of time. Of course, I got there at about 7:30, all ready to pass it off real quick, and all the TA's had gone home. Fortunately, we're given a certain number of late days, but I hate using a late day when I had the lab done hours before the deadline. Alas, such is life.
Took a test in my Mechanics of Materials class today. I think I did okay, but I also am afraid that I may have majorly messed up the second problem (of three)... There wasn't any secondary method of solving the problem to run a check and make sure that I didn't make any mistakes, so I just did my best and turned it in... We'll see what happens.
I roller bladed to Smith's early this morning... I don't think I'll ever go there again. In fact, I'm going to write a letter complaining about their health standards in general. I had to use the bathroom while I was there, but when I found the men's room, it was worse than any gas station I'd ever seen in the middle of nowhere. Absolute filth. I checked the clipboard with the cleaning checklist, and the last date that I could find was about ten days ago... and I could believe it. If that were the only problem, I would be fine, because a lot of businesses don't clean their restrooms very often. However, in addition to this, I was looking at the meat department... I had a craving for some steak. I almost bought a package of six medium sized steaks when I realized that they were past their sell-by date. Now, I'm not ultra-picky about my meat being fresh or anything, but I question any business that tries to sell products as being normal consumer goods, even though they do not meet standards. Unfortunately, there was nobody in the meat department (I was there rather early), for me to complain to. I would've insisted they either mark it down or remove it from the shelf. Naturally, I would've taken it at the mark down price (hey... I'll take sub-standard meat, if it's cheaper). I checked out with the milk I had gone to get, and I've been trying to think of the best way to write a nasty letter to their management. I doubt I'll ever go back there again...
can't think straight, so perhaps I should just go to bed... I wonder what the odds of that happening are.
