    Date... and, umm... yeah, computer...  echo $newRAM;

    Well, I've now been turned down three times (yayness)... life in the real world, y'know??? Anyway... I left a message with Marie, and hopefully she calls back soon. It's been a while since I was at home, so maybe she actually already called back... I'll go home in a bit.

    Perhaps I should explain a bit about being "turned down"... It's not that they tell me "no, I hate your guts, leave me alone" My personal favorite BYU turn down is "I'm going to be washing my hair"... a close second is "I'm sorry, didn't I tell you I was married?". hmmm.... I've got a list going here... top ten material? we shall see. (guess what the opening page is gonna have on it tomorrow... hehehe). At any rate, it's not that they are saying that they would never go on a date with me, it's that they're busy people, and yadda yadda yadda. It still sucks, though. I haven't yet reached my record for consecutive turn downs for one potential date (not by a long shot), but I only have 26 hours left. I really hope Marie says yes, cause that would simplify things a bit. Perhaps someday later, I'll give a more full criteria for what order I pick to ask girls on dates... but that's not necessary right now. Anyway... tomorrow became today, and today became yesterday, and Jo-Pete doesn't have a date (yet).

    Computer... yeah, that thing. GRRRRRR... we'll just simplify by saying simply that I'm going shopping tomorrow. I will be buying a new motherboard, a new case, new RAM, and other stuff that I keep losing track of. I guess it's a good thing that Josh is going with me, so that I buy all the parts necessary to keep a computer running. End cost... yep, you guessed it.... approximately $300. Hey, I quoted that price five days ago, didn't I? sigh.... yeah, I don't wanna spend that much money, but if I get junk parts, then I'll feel like I'm just throwing the money away. At least this way, I can look at it as being an upgrade... a forced upgrade, but an upgrade nonetheless. yeah. So we'll see if I'm on a new computer tomorrow. We can only hope.

    Pictures... will be updated before tomorrow ends. I'll bring the disks to the computer lab if I have to, but I wanna get all those pictures up. And, of course, the site change is still looming over the horizon. And... and yeah, that's it. peace.

    Yayness! more pictures uploaded on the... (duh) pictures page. As with all the pictures, they are actually four times as big (twice as high and twice as wide) as what they look... if you like any of the pictures, you can save it to your own computer and see it in more detail.

    A lot of them are rather BYU specific, but there's a few that I'm sure every guy has heard them. I know, that they aren't being mean or anything... but it still makes it rather difficult to find a date. I'm going to Utah Symphony with Ashley tomorrow night...

    The sad thing about this list... all but one of them I've either heard myself or I know someone who's gotten it...

    10. Shouldn't you be preparing for a mission? aren't girls, like, not allowed?

    9. I don't date guys in the ward.

    8. I have to wash my hair.

    7. Well, actually, I have homework that night. Yeah, it's a Friday, but there's only two days in the weekend.

    6. I don't think my fiance would like that very much.

    5. That's the time that I go to the gym every day.

    4. I prayed about it last night, and I really think that it wouldn't be good for us to go on a date together.

    3. I don't date premish (premish means a young man who hasn't gone on a mission yet).

    2. I don't date RM's (an RM means a young man who has already gone on his mission).

    1. I'm sorry, didn't I tell you yet? I'm married.
