Another week

Looks like another week has come and gone. As you can probably tell by the lack of entries, I haven't been in the best of moods. I tire of always writing about how crummy I feel, so I just don't write. My apologies (if anybody other than Mom and Eliza even read this).

I turned in about ten more applications to various restaurants around town, as well as one to a phone survey place. The only reason why I turned it in to the phone survey place is, well, because I'm flat-out desperate for a job right now. I know they'll hire me, and they'll probably hire me pretty quickly, and then I'll keep looking for a job that won't increase my desire to die.

Too bad I don't have a more popular website that can ask for donations for the things I do. Fifty cents a picture or something like that. That might make about $5 for me (all from mom).

Tomorrow I'm supposed to get a call from the person that claimed he would hire me. Somehow, that sounds familiar. I've almost reached the point that I give up on getting the job. That man has wasted at least two weeks of my life by his constant promises to "call tomorrow," and unique ability to disappear from his work for three days at a time. I wasn't turning in applications because he sounded so sure that I would be working at his company, but apparently I was too gullible. Apparently I shouldn't have believed, much less hoped for a good job.

It's starting to look like last summer. New scenery, same old story.

big sis says:
hang in there jp, some times things turn out better than we anticipate (there are times when they don't I know, but there are also lots of times when they do)

If this guy has not called before noon call him, and if he does not answer and you ahve any other contact numbers for there call them and tell them he's not calling you back and you have other concerns besides waiting for him to call.

good luck and hang in there!

mom says:
ELiza was up and moving first today!

I think mom has used more than $5 worth of photos...I will see what I can do about reimbursing.

Continue to be persistant in seeking the job of your choice. If nothing else the secretary should now recognize your voice! Good luck with the restaurants, possibly you will have 2 jobs before the week's end and then have the fun of being so busy your time is at a premium to be online. That would make your mother person very happy (and lonely since I talk to you online!)

Hang tough...remember you are loved...a person of great worth.
