Happy little Eliza notes

There were actually four different conversations flashing at me when I got home from work today. I felt so special. Two of them were just people asking if I were home yet (I guess that my computer decided to show me as being home even though I wasn't actually). Nonetheless, thanks for saying hi.

Congratulations to Eliza on her presentation and moving. It's amazing when all of a sudden life starts to feel real (not that I would know anything about that).

Speaking of Eliza, I want everybody to take a look at the three demo's I've made for her site. Of course, probably everybody who would ever leave a comment has already seen them, but nonetheless, I'll list them here. For prosperity. Even though I won't guarentee that the links will be good for more than a couple weeks (hence them being in the 'temp' directory, eh?)

For demo3, I couldn't figure out what kind of color scheme I wanted for the backgrounds, so I made a little chooser page for demo3.php. Let me know what colors you like.

A chat with Dad

I got that in the mail from my dad yesterday. Usually, mom hands the phone to dad when she has to run and do something for a couple minutes. I learned a while ago, though, that the way to talk to dad on the phone is to ask him about work.

So today I called him. He's in Washington (state) this week. I asked him how work was going, and with a little bit of prompting, we talked for almost half an hour. Mostly about his work. So call your dad today. Ask him if he's changed his oil.
